Whitening Toothpaste
Whitening toothpaste can remove surface stains. They can’t reach any deeper into the stain because they don’t have any bleaching ingredients. To get a lighter color than your natural shade, you will have to choose a different treatment option.
In-Office Whitening
Your dentist can whiten your teeth for you. They will apply a protective seal over your gums, use a bleaching gel to your teeth, and then set it under a special light. You will instantaneously see results, but it’s not under insurance, and it may not be the best option for sensitive teeth.
Whitening Strips
You can buy whitening strips at the store. They have a low concentration of bleach (compared to in-office whitening), but it’s still enough to see a difference.
